Comparing iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 Plus models (A1863, A1905, A1906, A1864, A1897, A1898)

In 2017, Apple released three versions of the iPhone and among them is the iPhone X which is to celebrate their 10th Anniversary. Other version includes the iPhone 8 and the iPhone 8 Plus. Both phones sport a premium designed; however, the iPhone X is the top flagship among them while the iPhone 8 and the iPhone 8 Plus is more affordable which makes it a better option to consumers.

iPhone 8 & iPhone 8 Plus Model

The iPhone 8 and the iPhone 8 Plus are the successors of the iPhone 7 and the iPhone 7 plus, so they share a similar design. That said, they came in a different material at the back. The iPhone 8 and the iPhone 8 Plus are built with glass, while the iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus features an Aluminium Alloy. Furthermore, both phones still support dust and water resistant while the glass on the iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 Plus enable wireless charging technology, making it the first phone from Apple to come with such feature.

On the hardware, the iPhone 8 has an LED IPS display panel with 12 MP camera on the back and 7MP selfie snapper and also a Touch ID for security. Other changes are the new A11 Bionic processor and wired fast charging technology which boast the phone up to 50% in 30 minutes.

iPhone 8 & iPhone 8 Plus Model

The iPhone 8 Plus comes in A1863, A1905, and 1906 models, and the iPhone 8 Plus come in A1864, A1897, and A1898 models. Apple uses a different chip to build the iPhones which involve Intel and Qualcomm.
