DEXP BL255 is a new Russian smartphone released in the month of December 2018. It is an Android Nougat phone which suggests that somehow it is backward. Also, there is no 4G network on the phone, which suggest that most of those that will like to buy the phone are from rural areas where speed on the internet is not seen as the most important thing.

Design and Display DEXP BL255
Design material prevalent in the smartphone is polycarbonate by nature. Dimensions are 147.8 x 71.5 x 8.8 mm and it weighs 151 grams. It comes in gray color. This is not a water resistant device but it has fingerprint sensor and no face recognition technology.
Display type is IPS LCD capacitive multi-touch screen with no secondary display. The screen size is 5.5 inches. Furthermore, pixel density is 260 ppi, pixel resolution is 1280 x 640. Other good features are 18:9 aspect ratio, and 74.1 percent screen to body ratio.

Android OS v7.0 Nougat runs supreme in the device. We cannot tell if this will upgrade to the latest Android 9 Pie in due time. For chipset, there is MediaTek MT6580A with process technology 28nm working on 64-bit architecture. The CPU is 1.3 GHz Quad-core Cortex A7, and the GPU is Mali 400 MP2.
Storage Capacity and Sensors
Inside the DEXP BL255 there is 1GB of RAM space that cannot be expanded. However, the internal storage is 8GB which can be increased to 32GB through the use of a micro-SD card in SIM 2 card slot.
Sensors in the device are accelerometer, proximity, light, and fingerprint.
Network and Connectivity
The DEXP BL255 is not a 4G smartphone. It means that it can only handle 2G and 3G internet network connections. Therefore, GSM and HSPA are the supported networks in the device. There are also two hybrid/nano SIM card slots to make these operate better.
Other connectivity components are Bluetooth v4.0, Wi-Fi, GPS, AGPS, headphone jack, and micro USB 2.0. However, there are no infrared, NFC, or HDMI technology in the device.
