Doogee BL12000 Pro – Review
The Doogee BL12000 Pro is an update to the Doogee BL12000 packing more RAM and internal storage. But that’s not all, it also has much reduction in bezels compared to its predecessor. Although the massive battery capacity is still pegged at 12000mAh battery, well no surprises here the name is still BL12000 right? This powerhouse is absolutely powerful on the inside and beautiful at the outside as well. Lets have a thorough review of the Doogee BL12000 Pro.
Design
Looks beautiful from the back like its brother, looking stunning and sleek. The metal body was exquisitely crafted to perfection and covered with strong glass. The dual rear camera are vertical in the top middle with the fingerprint scanner underneath. All located in a beautifully vertical shape with the dual-LED flash beside it.

Its one of those device you can flaunt, with people admiring your smartphone. Although its too heavy and fat, mainly because of the 12000mAh battery inside. Measuring 14 mm in thickness, now that’s a bulky smartphone, it weighs an astonishing 300g. The dual nano sim compatible smartphone is available in Black and Blue colors.
Display
It sports much reduction in bezels, with a 77% screen to body ratio. Which is far more better than its predecessor, which reach just 72% screen to body ratio. It dishes out an impressive screen display with a much more broader look. Although there are still bezels, but its at the minimal this time around.
The 6-inch HD+ IPS LCD capacitive touchscreen is brilliant, boasting of 2160 x 1080 pixels in resolution. The screen has 402 pixel per inch density for sharp clarity and clear detail. Which is protected by a 2.5D Curved Glass Screen with scratch resistant. Features on the screen includes a 1100:1 Contrast Ratio and 18:9 Aspect Ratio with multitouch.
Hardware and Software
In terms of performance the Doogee BL12000 Pro is a beast that houses the MediaTek Helio P25 MT6757CD chip. Couple with Octa-core processor reaching a speed of 2.5GHz and 16nm process technology. The graphics processor is an ARM Mali-T880 MP2 processing unit with 2-Cores and a speed of 900MHz.
It comes with a 6GB RAM space for fast and smooth multitasking and 128GB storage. Although there’s a cheaper variant with 64GB, as both are upgradeable up to 256GB with microSD. By simply inserting the memory card in the sim 2 slot to upgrade the storage further. Doogee BL12000 Pro runs smoothly on 7.0 Nougat operating system with modified UI.
Camera
Crystal clear 16MP + 13MP rear shooter is at the back of this baby, capturing 4K resolution images. Take stunning photographs with up to 4608 x 3456 Pixels in image dimensions for extreme clarity. With f/2.0 aperture lens, dual-LED flash and other stunning features, the photographs will come alive.
At the front, there’s another 16MP + 8MP dual selfie camera with front LED flash for complimenting selfies. Both cameras boasts of a 88 & 130 Degree Wide Angle Lens for taking selfies with group of people and friends.
Battery
Doogee BL12000 Pro houses a 12000mAh Non-removable Li-Po battery, with fast battery charging feature.
