For Android
- Make sure your phone is running on Android 4.0 or higher.

Download PhoneRescue For Android On your PC or Mac.

Run the Software and Connect your Phone to the PC or Mac via a USB Cable. It will detect your phone and connect it to the software.

After connecting, you will be presented with different categories; Photos, contacts, Messages, etc. Tick Messages and Click on Next.

Check the Messages Folder and Messages attachments for the message you will like to restore. (If you don’t find the message(s) here, then it has probably been overwritten and gone forever)

However, if you see the message(s), Select/Mark them and Choose whether to Restore to Your Phone or Restore to your PC using the two options at the bottom right side of the screen.

For iOS
- Make sure you’re on iOS 9 or higher.
Download PhoneRescue For iOS.
Run the software and connect your iOS device to your PC or Mac using a USB Cable.
Now that your device is connected. Click on the Right Arrow at the bottom of the screen to scan your iOS device.
All Categories Will Pop up and be automatically selected by default. Uncheck them all and leave only the message Checked/Marked then click on Ok.
Select Messages and Messages Attachments.
Select the contact with whom you would like to restore the message.
Preview the Message you would like to restore, Select it and Choose whether to restore to phone or PC using the options at the bottom right side of the screen.
