Elephone, one of the Chinese smartphone maker has recently announced the release of another flagship with great performance and a low price tag. Elephone has revealed two of its flagship side by side. One is the Elephone S2 (which we are here to discuss extensively) and the other is the Elephone S2 Plus.
Elephone has added little style to their collection with the launch of the thin flagship named as Elephone S2 with dual glass design. We are here today to give you detailed view of the Elephone S2 Specifications.
Display
The Elephone S2 is quite different to the Elephone S2 Plus in size and a new stylish, slim and elegant design. The Elephone S2 is fitted with a 5.0 inch display with dual FHD screen technology. The front is covered with Gorilla Glass display which is scratch proof and Dust-proof which protects your phone effectively in case of accidents. It has an image resolution of 720×1080 pixels HD.
Design
It shows a dual glass design with interesting pattern on the rear and appears to be an alloy chassis visible on all four edges, and features a fingerprint scanner which seems to be one of the feature which grasp the attention of audience. The fingerprint scanner enhances and provides more security than the normal phone as it can be only accessed by the user itself.
It features a 2.5D arched surface glass display on the front. The 2.5D arched surface seen on this device is a new craft design, screen surface covered with a graceful curved glass, and the use seamless design, cause the screen to look like glass surface and makes it look more three-dimensional.
Seen at the back is a micro USB and a dual LED flash. The design is very much similar to the latest flagships Nubia Z9 and upcoming Vivo X5Pro models.
Hardware & Software
The Elephone S2 Specifications in terms of performance reveals that it is powered by the quad core built in MTK6592+6290 cpu. It is based on 28 nm technology with ARM Cortex A7 architecture which has a frequency of 1.5 GHz. The processor installed on this great device is the latest in the market and this gives this device a head over other smartphone.
The device runs the latest Android 5.1 Lollipop. It packs a 2GB of RAM which makes it more powerful and fast than any other phones in this range.
