The Elephone U Pro is the more advanced version of the Elephone U smartphone. Released just two weeks ago, the Elephone U Pro created a lot of buzz on the Internet these past couple of weeks. Well, the bezel-less beauty is finally here with us and I’ll be unboxing it here, so we can see what the buzz is all about. This is an in-depth unboxing review of the Elephone U Pro, stay with me till the end so you won’t miss a single detail.
But before we reveal the Elephone U Pro, lets take a moment to admire the packaging of the device. I mean, you can never go wrong with black. The Elephone logo at the middle glows in red, there’s also an “Elephone Design” engraving by the side. Lets have a much clearer view from the top, shall we?
Much clearer now right? The black box actually looks bigger in photos than it is in real life though. You can tell from the length of the smartwatch right beside it. Oh, i forgot to make a proper introduction, that’s the Ticwatch E we reviewed earlier right beside it.
One more shoot, to be honest the black box photographs well with the Ticwatch E. From this angle you can see the smartwatch is a bit longer than Elephone U Pro’s box. Furthermore, the box isn’t even as heavy as it looks, you can easily pick it up with one hand.
Without further ado, meet the Elephone U Pro, the USB charger pack, Elephone U Pro’s pack and big black box housing it all. I know, the Elephone U Pro doesn’t photograph well from this angle. Lets try a new angle.
What do you think? It looks better from this side right? The U Pro is available in Blue and Black colors only, i think the Blue should perhaps bring out the beauty of the device. Lets go back to the top now.
As you can see the black box is just a little big bigger than the 5.99-inch smartphone. The device is still protected by a thick nylon, that’s why it looks kinda boring from this angle. Lets look at this beauty from another angle now.
As we can see from this side, the device is still pretty much protected by the nylon and ready to be unveiled. I can also spot dual loudspeakers sitting side by side the charging port from this angle. Take a look at how that Aluminium Alloy body reflects light, absolutely stunning.
So the nylon has been taken off the Elephone U Pro and everything in the box has been unveiled. Obviously, you won’t see how beautiful the Elephone U Pro is till you turn it on or turn it over perhaps.
Inside the box with the Elephone U Pro is one Headphone Adapter, which proves it has no 3.5 mm jack. There’s one Power Adapter and one USB Cable to easily charge up the battery. Other feature includes one Screen Protector to protect the bezel-less screen, one SIM Needle and one User Manual Guide in English.
Just look at how beautiful the Elephone U Pro is from the back. It sports dual vertical rear camera with a dual-LED flash by the side and fingerprint scanner underneath.

Can you see those tiny lines at the back of the phone, that’s the light reflection on its glass back. The phone is even far away from the light and shines this bright, i will still take it outside to see how well it reflects with the sunlight.
Underneath the device, it looks like the iPhone 8 Plus with dual loudspeakers sitting side by side. There’s a micro USB port type C in the middle to easily charge the battery or transfer files.
On top of the phone, there’s a slot for 2 Nano SIM cards and a Micro SD card slot as well. You will need to use the SIM Needle to open it up.
Wow! See how the Corning Gorilla Glass 5 reflects what’s on the table. Simply magical.
From a different angle, we can see how the AMOLED screen got to the sides and how sleekly curved it is.

So, we are back inside with the Elephone U Pro and turned it on after a fun time outside with the sun, see how beautiful the AMOLED capacitive touchscreen is.
