Fans Await Google’s Next Budget Pixel Smartphone

What struck us about the news was not just that the new Pixel phone will come cheap but that it will come with great camera setup. So think of the Google Pixel 3 first, think of all the goodness one can find in that mobile device. Put most of it into something Lite and you get it.

That’s what Google is about to do.

The new budget device will be new Google Pixel 3 Lite. People say this may come at a price of around $400 to $500 and to the fans who may be waiting for it, it could just be released before the end of 2018.

This news is not really official but the source that predicted the Pixel 3 XL a few months ago – and did it correctly; are also on this news. According to the latest information, the performance will be just as great.

It will arrive with Snapdragon 670 processor, 4GB of RAM and 32GB of onboard storage.

The screen size will be 5.56 inches (this is just about that of Pixel 3) of IPS capacitive touch screen, with pixels resolution of 2220 x 1080, aspect ratio 18.5:9.

The battery power will be 2915 mAh just as the regular Pixel 3 has, and it could also have the same dimensions and thickness based on the images seen online.

However, it seems that most significant features in the new budget smartphone are the cameras, which are 8 MP at the front, and 12 MP at the rear. This setup is so much like what you find in the Pixel 3. Only thing is, the Lite does not seem to possess the wide angle selfie camera which the other possesses. Yet, the headphone jack remains very intact.

Also rumored is that the “G” on the back of Pixel smartphones will appear as “C” on the rear of the new budget phone. Why that is so is still a bit sketchy, for we want to believe that as Rick Osterloh, Google’s head of hardware said, Pixel stays premium.

Some are saying that the new budget Pixel phone will bear a different name but we are yet to verify what will really be the case.
