General Mobile has been in the business of producing Android One smartphones in conjunction with Google since last year (when the General Mobile 4G was launched), and it’s adding another smartphone, the General Mobile GM 5 to that collection with the latest version of the Android operating system, Android 7.0 Nougat.
The GM 5 is a budget smartphone, but specs like Android 7.0 Nougat OS and dual LED flash could make you think otherwise.

The General Mobile GM 5 smartphone comes with a 5-inch HD OnCell IPS display protected with Corning Gorilla Glass 4. It’s powered by a 64-bit Quad-core Snapdragon 410 processor with a speed of 1.2GHz, and an Adreno 306 GPU handles graphics operations.
The GM 5 comes with 2GB of RAM and 16GB of internal memory which can be expanded up to 64GB with a microSD card. It comes in Single and Dual SIM variants and supports 4G LTE network connection.
The General Mobile GM 5 sports a 13MP camera with dual LED flash and 1080p video recording at the rear, while at the front there’s a 5MP selfie shooter. The GM 5 packs a 2500mAh battery and runs on Android 7.0 Nougat right out of the box.
