Gooweel S11 has been launched as the world’s cheapest smartphone with Face ID, according to Gooweel. The device is already available on shopping stores, it has a Face Wake feature that lets you unlock the device with your face.

Design
The Gooweel S11 comes with a nicely polished Plastic back cover, with curved antenna lines which brings out the beauty of this affordable smartphone with Face ID. Another feature that commands attention at the rear is the dual rear shooters.
The cameras are horizontal at the top left corner with the LED flash underneath. The Gooweel logo takes the place of a fingerprint scanner. While the loudspeaker is seen at the bottom corner to the right. Turning over to the side, we can see the volume keys and power sits by the right. It’s available in Gold, Blue and Red colors.
Display
The screen dishes out a 16:9 aspect ratio and it’s quite as basic as the price. Of course, the bezels are thick as expected. The bottom bezels houses three navigation buttons, including a physical home button with no fingerprint scanner feature. Honestly, the side bezels are almost non-existent, which is impressive.
A standard 5-inch IPS LCD capacitive touchscreen is ready to give you quality entertainment. With 540 x 960 pixels in resolution and 220 pixel per inch density, the details won’t be magical, but it isn’t too bad as well. There’s a 2.5D Curved Glass on top as well.
Hardware and Software
Taking charge underneath, is the Mediatek MT6580M chip with its Quad-Core processor and 64-bit CPU architecture. The 4-Cores of processor here clocks at a smooth speed of 1.3GHz with 28nm process technology. The ARM Mali-400 MP2 comes with 2-Cores and handles graphics.
Multitask light apps with 1GB RAM space available, it has a memory speed of 533MHz as well. While for storage, a smaller 4GB storage space is ready, you can always upgrade up to 32GB anytime you want. The Gooweel S11 runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop with modified user interface.
Camera
The S11 is equipped with 5MP + 0.3MP dual rear shooters with a dual-LED flash which helps in photographs in low light environments. The 2MP selfie Camera has a LED flash as well and supports Face ID.
Battery
Powering the Gooweel S11 is a 2200mAh removable Li-Ion battery with no fast charging technology. Without the fast charging feature, charging the battery from 0% to 100% shouldn’t take up to 2.2 hours.
