The Samsung Galaxy S9 and S9+ were released earlier this year in all its glory. Like every other device out there in the market, we have seen a lot of new features about the device. Also, we have seen people complain about minor bugs on their Samsung Galaxy S9 and S9+. One of which being the GPS problem. Which we have written an article already on how to fix GPS problem on the Samsung Galaxy S9 and S9+.

Apart from the complaints, we have also seen and are still discovering about new features about the Samsung Galaxy S9 and S9+. One of which is the ability to record slow-mo videos at 1080p. Although, some other phones have this capability. Phones like the LG V30, Samsung Galaxy Note 8 and the Apple iPhone X just to name a few. Which makes it seems as if Samsung was late to the party. But it is better late than never right?

However, a lot of these phones can let you capture 1080p but they can only do that at 240fps. And if you want to shoot at 960fps you would have to do that at the expense of the pixel quality which will be reduced to 720p. Hopefully, as processors get stronger, then maybe the camera we will have then might be able to shoot 1080p at 960fps. Possibly, 4k resolution in the distant future. But for now, we will have to make do with what we have.

Samsung Galaxy S9 and S9+ camera have been automatically configured out of the box to shoot 720p videos but only at 960fps. You can change this in the camera settings and take it up to 1080p at 240fps. That’s if the pixel quality is what you are after and don’t really care about the frame per second rate.
