An easy procedure such as transferring contacts from an old iPhone to the new iPhone X at first glance may seem like a minor operation, but if you are not very tech savvy it is not.
After a few months ago that we reviewed the excellent Apple iPhone X, in today’s tutorial we will explain the most effective way to export contacts from your old iPhone to the new iPhone X relying on the convenient wireless technology offered directly by Apple, AirDrop.
Transferring contacts from your old iPhone to the new iPhone X via Airdrop – here’s how
If you intend to pass contacts from your old iPhone to the new one, the AirDrop wireless technology will help you. It not only allows the direct and fast passage of all contacts but also of multimedia files, geographical locations, and Internet sites. We also remember that this technology is present on all iPhone models starting from the 5th to the last top of the range of Apple Bitten.
That said, the steps to follow for contacts from your old iPhone to the new iPhone X via Airdrop are as follows:
- First of all, open the Contacts app, choose one at your convenience and tap the Share Contact heading below;
- Wait a couple of seconds and the AirDrop section will appear in which you have to select the receiver phone icon and in a few moments, the transfer will be done correctly. The recipient iPhone must, necessarily, have an active WI-FI connection/Bluetooth connectivity.
If for any reason AirDrop does not work properly, open the Control Center and set its menu to All. The same action must be done on the other iPhone. When the contact has arrived, simply press Save or Create Contact.
Among other things, you can also share a number via email or Whatsapp by opting for the icon, after pressing the word Share Contact.
Transferring contacts from your old iPhone to the new iPhone X via Airdrop is a trivial process and we are sure you will have no problems. For whatever you encounter let us know in the comment section.
