Google has done a bad job at hiding that Pixel news will surely be heard at the I/O. Rumor and leaks are hinting at Google flaunting the fresh Pixel 3a and 3a XL devices in 2024, which might be more affordable models than Google’s products in recent years. We can understand that, as Pixel has not really been the kind of revelation Google expected, therefore these cheaper prices can work wonders.

Like always, Google will most likely touch on the yet-to-be-released Android Q update to its OS. Android Q beta debuted in March and it will be the right thing to do if Google spoke about the last version at I/O.

As for smart-home, Google hinted us on the new Nest Hub Max months back. No one will be surprised to see the device with amazing features, one of which is its 10-inch HD screen. Google might also say a few things about Gmail, which has faced several upgrades recently. The Google Duplex AI call service that was unveiled in 2024 can also be a topic, since it is still pretty scarce even after a year after its release.

The huge attraction though is the Google Stadia gaming platform. Google revealed the game streaming service 2 months back, but precise details like its release date and pricing were not disclosed at that time. Google vowed to speak on it in 219, and well, here we are. But still, maybe subsequent announcements will not be made at I/O, since the gaming world will unite for major revelations in June at E3.
