HTC U11 Life Specs Review, Price and Where to buy

Who remembers the HTC U11? The beautiful shiny smartphone that can be squeezed. If you don’t, you can check out the specifications, review and price in this post. Well, HTC Corporation have released a toned-down version of the squeezable HTC U11 device and it comes under the codename HTC U11 Life.

Let’s see how HTC breathed life into the HTC U11 Life smartphone.

HTC U11 Life

Compared to the HTC U11 which was covered with glass both on the front and back, the U11 Life is smaller and comes in a metal body coating. With a dimension of 149.1 x 72.9 x 8.1 mm and 142 grams weight, the HTC U11 Life retains the glossy appearance, front facing fingerprint sensor, and IP67 certification of its predecessor. This confers a water and dust resistance of up to 1 meter for 30 minutes upon the HTC U11 Life.

So are you on the lookout for that smartphone to take camping or on other adventurous trips, the HTC U11 Life seem like one of the perfect choice. The device comes an unspecified version of Corning’s Gorilla Glass to protect against dust and accidental scratches. You may also consider using an external glass protector.

The HTC U11 Life has a 5.2 inches Super LCD display which has a 1080 x 1920 pixels resolution and a 424 ppi pixel density. The backlit screen comes at just the perfect size for watching movies, reading eBooks and the best optimal visuals for your game as it displays the brightest and sharpest colours.

The U11 Life uses Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 630 System-on-Chip and Adreno 508 Graphics Processing Unit. The device uses an Octa-Core Cortex A-53 processor that runs at a speed of 2.2 GHz.

There are two variants of the device based on storage. One comes with a 4 GB RAM and 64 GB built-in storage while there’s also a 3 GB and 32 GB ROM. Both versions support memory expansion up to 256 GB via the SD card slot.

HTC U11 Life

When the HTC U11 Life was announced, one of the highlight of the device was the Android v8.0 Oreo operating system.

The HTC U11 Life comes with a twin 2-camera system – one 16 MP camera with LED flash light on the rear, and another 16 MP camera on the front for selfie capture.

Keeping the device up and running is a non-removable 2,600 mAh battery which can offer a talk time of up to 670 hours. The device uses a USB Type-C port which doubles as the earphone a d headphone jack.

The HTC U11 Life has been released for global sale and costs $238.
