Huawei Honor 7A Pro has been introduced by the company quietly on their website as the cheaper variant of the Honor 7A. More like a “Lite” version with a Pro name, i don’t think it deserves the Pro name though.
The Pro version comes with just a single rear camera instead of two. Internally, the storage space and RAM has been reduced as well to fit those on a budget. Nonetheless, it dishes out a full view display with the normal battery capacity. Lets have a thorough look.

Design
Looks exactly like the Honor 7A in terms of total design package. Sporting the same dual antenna lines as well, you have to look closely to see the single camera at the top left corner. Definitely one of the good looking budget smartphone thus far.
It’s metal body is what we typically see on most flagship smartphone. There’s also a fingerprint scanner at the usual position, unlike other budget smartphones. It measures 7.8 mm in thickness and weighs 150g overall, it’s available in Gold, Black and Blue colors as well.
Display
Huawei and the Honor sub-brand are known for their bezel-less displays and the Honor 7A Pro didn’t disappoint. It’s full view display stretches from side to side, leaving just tiny narrow bezel. The Honor logo is visible at the bottom corner, while the top houses the usual features.
The 5.7-inch HD+ IPS LCD capacitive touchscreen displays stunning visuals for a budget smartphone to be honest. A resolution of 1440 x 720 pixels and 282 pixel per inch density for sharp visuals. The screen has GFF full lamination technology and stretches up to 75% screen to body ratio.

Hardware and Software
The Snapdragon 430 chip from Qualcomm is in charge here with Octa-core processor and 64-bit CPU architecture. The 8-cores of processor could only reach a speed of 1.4GHz with 28nm process technology. In the graphics department, the Adreno 505 graphics processor dominates.
A standard 2GB RAM space is available for light multitasking with a memory speed of 667MHz. For storing files, 16GB is available as well and you can easily upgrade up to 256GB using a memory card. The Huawei Honor 7A Pro runs on Android 8.0 Oreo operating system with Emotion UI 8.0.
Camera
The 13MP rear camera has f/2.2 aperture and capture photographs with 4160 x 3120 pixels in dimension. The camera has a LED flash for night photography and other features to bring out the photos. Videos of 1080p can be recorded at 30 frames per second, while the 8MP selfie camera has f/2.2 aperture and face identification technology.

Powering the Huawei Honor 7A Pro is a 3000mAh non-removable Li-Po battery with fast charging technology. With the fast charging feature, it shouldn’t take up to 1.9 hours to fully charge up the battery from 0% to 100%.
