Huawei Honor 7A has been announced in China as an entry-level smartphone with facial identification technology in its 8MP selfie shooter. The midrange device looks exactly like how Huawei make their midrange devices.

Design
I think by now we all know exactly how Huawei make their devices. The 7A sports a metal overall unibody that’s non-removable. The sleek looking body should be comfortable to hold and flaunt, sporting dual antenna lines at the rear. The fingerprint scanner is at its usual position as well.
The dual rear camera are horizontal at the top left corner on the antenna line, with the dual-LED flash right beside it. Turning over to the sides, it measures 7.8 mm in thickness and weighs just 150g overall. In terms of colors, it’s available in Black, Blue and Gray colors.
Display
Another bezel-less beauty from Huawei, the Honor 7A screen dishes out an 18:9 aspect ratio in style. The Full View display is simply breathtaking and stunning, as usual there’s a Huawei logo at the bottom bezel, while the top bezel houses the selfie camera and other features.
The 5.7-inch IPS In-Cell capacitive touchscreen displays like a midrange smartphone it is. Boasting of 1440 x 720 pixels in resolution and 282 pixel per inch density, offering clear visuals. The screen stretches up to 74% screen to body ratio, while a 2.5D glass protects it all.

Hardware and Software
The Honor 7A houses the Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 chip with Octa-core processor and 64-bit CPU architecture. The 8-cores of processor runs at a speed of 1.5GHz with 28nm process technology as well. Controlling graphics is the Qualcomm Adreno 505 graphics processor.
There are two versions in terms of RAM, the standard version comes with 3GB RAM, while the cheaper version packs just 2GB. Both RAM space reaches a memory speed of 800MHz with 32GB internal storage space a piece. The internal storage is upgradeable up to 256GB, while the device runs on Android 8.0 Oreo with Emotion UI 8.0.
Camera
The dual 13MP + 2MP rear camera captures 4K resolution images with ease. The 13MP shooter has f/2.2 aperture and comes with other features like face detection, exposure compensation, dual-LED flash and others, which helps the duo take photographs with 4160 x 3120 pixels in dimension. The 8MP selfie camera has f/2.0 aperture and face identification technology.

Battery
Powering the Huawei Honor 7A is a 3000mAh non-removable Li-Po battery with fast charging technology. With the fast charging feature, it shouldn’t take up to 2.5 hours to fully charge up the battery from 0% to 100%.
