Huawei Honor 8 Lite with Android 7.0 Nougat launched in Finland – Specs & Price

Huawei Honor launched the beautiful Honor 8 flagship smartphone last year, and has now launched a cheaper variant of the smartphone, the Huawei Honor 8 Lite with some downgraded specs in a European country — Finland.

The Honor 8 Lite has the same design and display as its higher variant, and its front camera and battery remain the same as those found on the Honor 8. The aspect ratio of the phone has been changed to make the Honor 8 Lite bigger than the standard Honor 8, but the weight has decreased a little.

Other aspects of the smartphone like its rear camera, processor speed and software have been changed.

The Huawei Honor 8 Lite features a 5.2-inch 2.5D curved glass display which has a Full HD (1920 * 1080) pixel resolution. It has a glass back upon which is contained a fingerprint sensor, like in the Honor 8.

The Honor 8 Lite is powered by a 2.1GHz Kirin 655 processor which runs on the 16nm process and has eight processing cores. Its graphics operations are handled by a Mali T830-MP2 GPU. It has 3GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage which can be expanded up to 128GB via its microSD card slot.

The Honor 8 Lite sports a 12MP single camera (instead of the dual rear camera on the Honor 8) with a LED flash at the rear, and an 8MP camera at the front for taking selfies. It has an hybrid dual Nano SIM slot and is capable of accessing 4G LTE networks.

The Huawei Honor 8 Lite runs on Android  7.0 Nougat with Huawei’s EMUI 5.0 layered on top.
