Intex Technologies has added a new smartphone dubbed the Intex Aqua Craze II to the Intex Aqua series. The smartphone was launched at the India Gadgetz Expo (IGE) 2016 event alongside another Aqua smartphone, the Intex Aqua 5.5 VR.
The Intex Aqua Craze II is the successor to the Intex Aqua Craze which is one of the earliest members of the Intex Aqua series. Though the Aqua 5.5 VR has better specs than the Craze II, the latter is almost a hundred rupees more expensive than the former.

Display & Design
The Intex Aqua Craze II comes with a 5-inch IPS display with a pixel resolution of 1280 * 720 (HD). It has physical navigation buttons, and the edges are rounded.
Memory & Performance
The Intex Aqua Craze II is powered by a Quad-core Spreadtrum SC9832A processor which has a speed of 1.3GHz. Present also on the SoC is a Mali-400MP GPU to handle graphics operations.
The smartphone comes with 1GB of DDR3 RAM and 8GB of internal storage which can be expanded up to 32GB with a micro SD card.
Connectivity & Battery
The smartphone packs a 2,500mAh battery and comes with a dual SIM slot. It is compatible with 4G network bands and has support for VoLTE. Other connectivity options present in the device are WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0 and GPS.
Camera
At the rear of the device is a combination of a 5MP camera and a LED flash, while a 5MP camera takes care of photography alone at the front.
Software and Hardware
The Intex Aqua Craze II runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow out of the box. It comes with Intex LFTY which gives users access to content in multiple categories by swiping the screen to the left. As Intex put it,
“A single screen for multiple utilities and content categories i.e. access to content and utilities in 1 swipe – Video, Music, News, Shopping, Weather, Twitter, Best Apps and more. Further, this helps in filtering pop-ups/distractions on the home screen.”
The smartphone supports over 21 languages and comes with Value Added Services and benefits from Intex.

Intex Aqua Craze II Price in Nigeria, Kenya and Ghana
The Intex Aqua Craze II will be available soon through retail channels in India for Rs. 5,990. It comes in Grey, Champagne and Dark Blue colour versions and would cost around N29,000 in Nigeria, KES 9,100 in Kenya and GHS 359 in Ghana if it becomes available in Africa.
