The Intex Aqua series is one that gets constant additions, so getting a member of the series to break or create a record could be as hard as getting a camel to pass through the eye of a needle. Intex has launched a new smartphone, the Intex Aqua S2, and the smartphone has managed to attain the title of the cheapest smartphone with a fingerprint sensor in India.
The Intex Aqua S2, like many other smartphones in the Intex Aqua series is a budget smartphone with a cool design and internals you would expect to find in a phone with its price tag.

The Intex Aqua S2 possesses a 5-inch screen IPS display with a FWVA (854 * 480) pixel resolution and a 64.4% screen-to-body ratio.
The design of the Intex Aqua S2 is quite cool, but I can’t say it’s unique. The Intex logo is emblazoned at the bottom of the rear of the device, and two antenna lines cut across the smartphone vertically at the top and bottom respectively. Actually, I think only the top line is the antenna band and the bottom one was just added to complement it and improve the design.
The smartphone is 9.65mm thick and weighs around 140 grammes.
Memory & Performance
The Aqua S2 is powered by a Quad-core Spreadtrum SC7731 processor with a speed of 1.2GHz. It comes with 1GB of RAM and 8GB of internal storage which can be expanded up to 32GB with a microSD card.
Battery
The Intex Aqua S2 packs a 2,450mAh battery that should last for a whole day on average use.
Connectivity
The phone comes with a Dual SIM and supports 3G HSPA+ network connectivity, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n for wireless connections, Bluetooth 4.0 for wireless data transfer and GPS for navigation

The camera units on the rear and front of the Aqua S2 are both 5-megapixels, but the rear camera is accompanied by a LED flash which is useful in low-light conditions.
