Chinese smartphone manufacturer itel has introduced its latest smartphone in Nigeria which happens to be its first device to cross the 512MB RAM size barrier. Dubbed itel it1516 Plus, the smartphone comes with 1GB of RAM and 5000mAh battery with reverse charging support. Apart from these two specs, the device really doesn’t post a very impressive specs line-up but it makes up for that by clutching a very cheap price tag.

Camera, OS & Battery
On the camera end, the it1516 Plus sports a disappointing 5-megapixel main camera at the rear with auto-focus and a 2-megapixel front-facing camera for selfie snapshots. The device also runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop out-of-the-box and features a 5,00mAh battery under its hood. The battery can be used to charge other smartphones and devices through its reverse charging feature.
In addition, the budget device also comes with a host of connectivity options such as 3G, 2G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0.
