iTel S31 with 5.5-inch HD Display launched; Specs & Price in Nigeria

Some days ago, iTel mobile announced a new smartphone in its S selfie series, the iTel S31 as a successor to the selfie-focused iTel S11. The iTel S31 and the S11 have almost the same specs, with a few differences in aspects like the display.

The iTel S31 comes with a bigger 5.5-inch display with an HD (1280 * 720) pixel resolution. It features a metal body with an improved iTel S31 design. The company claims that the side bezels of the smartphone are slim, but from the press images of the phone, I don’t understand how those bezels could be regarded as ‘thin’ at this period in technology. Maybe thin now has another meaning…

In terms of photography, the iTel S31 sports 5MP cameras at the front and the rear. The rear camera has autofocus and is accompanied by a dual LED flash, while the selfie camera comes with a soft LED flash. The highlight of its selfie camera is its 5-level beauty mode that allows you fine-tune your selfies before making use of them;

The phone packs a 2400mAh battery, suggesting that it’s meant for budget buyers and light smartphone users. It’s powered by an unnamed quad-core processor with a speed of 1.3GHz. Since the iTel S11 is the company’s first smartphone with Android 6.0 Marshmallow, the iTel S31 certainly runs on Android Marshmallow out of the box.
