LeEco Le 2s Rumored Specs & Price

LeEco has established themselves as one of the best mobile brands available in Asia and their rise to success was further boosted when they made the bold and daring move westward. Their flurries of cheap flagship monsters were well received.

DESIGN & DISPLAY

In the leaked statement it stated the LeEco LE 2s would feature a 5.5″, IPS LCD, 401 PPI (pixel density) the alleged device sports the brand’s signature with full metal body and looks a lot like the recently released Le Max 2.

STORAGE, CAMERA & 0S

The LeEco LE 2s comes prepared with 4GB of RAM and 32GB of onboard storage. The 32GB ROM might prove as a problem to many as the device offer’s no external storage options.

On the software side, this new device sadly won’t be running Android Nougat, but we still have dearly beloved Android Marshmallow v6.0 coupled with LeEco’s EUI 6.0.

The leaks show that the device will sport a 13MP back camera with Dual LED flash, phase detection, autofocus, Geo-tagging, touch focus, face detection, panorama, HDR and an 8MP ( f/2.2 aperture, 1.4 µm pixel size, 1080p) selfie camera. Videos can be recorded in, FHD recording 2160p@30fps, 1080p@30fps and 720p@120fps.

PROCESSOR & OTHER FEATURES

The LeEco LE 2s will sport the beastly Qualcomm MSM8996 Snapdragon 820 (dual core x2.15 GHz Kryo & dual core x1.6 GHz Kryo) with Adreno 530 GPU.

The leEco 2s does not have an audio jack and we do not know if they will use Bluetooth, NFC, or make a usb type c to headphone jack cable like apple

The LeEco 2s uses dual standby SIMs and supports all wireless networks, although nothing has been said if the device will be only sold unlocked or via network carriers. The device also has a fingerprint scanner; USB type C and will be available in Rose Gold, Gold, Silver and Grey.

No word has been passed on the pricing of this device, but with all these fantastic specs, we would expect LeEco to keep the device around the $200-$300 range.

We don’t have to tell you that this is a device that you should probably save some cash for, we mean if 8Gb of RAM, 128GB of internal storage and the Snapdragon 821 chipset are not enough to spark your interest in this device then I have no idea what will. Big ups to LeEco for yet another excellent smartphone.
