Android 7.0 Nougat has been out since August 2016, but a very small percentage of all the smartphones in the world are running the latest version of the OS. Up till the end of last year, only the two new Google phones, the Google Pixel and Pixel XL were running Nougat, and new flagship smartphones this year came running on it, as well as old flagship smartphones updated. For my fellow Infinix fans out there (I use a Hot S 😉 ) who have been anticipating this new OS, particularly with the availability of Google Assistant to all Marshmallow smartphones, your time to rejoice is here; seven (7) Infinix smartphones are getting an update to Android 7.0 Nougat very soon!
Early last month, Infinix Mobility started testing Android Nougat on its Note 3 series (Infinix Note 3 & Note 3 Pro). Now, a list of seven Infinix smartphones that would be updated to Android 7.0 Nougat has shown up.
Infinix Smartphones receiving Android 7.0 Nougat
Below are the Infinix smartphones listed to receive the update package to the latest version of the Android OS, Android 7.0 Nougat:
- Infinix Hot 4.
- Infinix Hot 4 Pro.
- Infinix Hot S.
- Infinix Zero 4.
- Infinix Zero 4 Plus.
- Infinix Note 3.
- Infinix Note 3 Pro.
What I observed about this list is that it contains only all the smartphones released by Infinix Mobility in 2016. Infinix Note 3 and Note 3 Pro users are already enjoying a beta version of Android 7.0 Nougat (we’ll share how to do this in a tutorial later, and when the stable version of the update finally rolls out, the two smartphones will be updated along with the others in the list.
The seven Infinix smartphones will be updated from April to July 2017. My phone, the Infinix Hot S is on the list, is yours there?

hi my infinix hot 4 is giving me problem, i set an anti-theft but couldn’t remember the privacy code so i sent it for flashing. after the flashing, i realized i could not make calls or receive call.i placed in my sim in another phone and called the guy who did the flashing for me, he asked me to bring it and so i did. i was able to make calls and receive calls. but just noticed that the problem has happened again. I can’t make call neither to receive call. any time i try to call “cellular network unavailable. IMEI invalid. please need help. If anyone of you has android 7.0 please mail it to me. Yes, the ones that was first released are Android 6.0, but they now come with already upgraded version.
