Motorola announces Moto E5 Play with Android Go in Europe and Latin America

Motorola made a big announcement in April when it revealed not two or three, but no less than six smartphones in the global market. One of them was left out of some markets: Moto E5 Play, leaving the Moto E5 as the company’s most basic model for our market – and for which we have already done our review here.

For the Moto E5 family has grown a bit more. Now, in addition to the aforementioned variants and the E5 Plus, Motorola has announced the fourth choice for selected markets. It’s an even more basic variant, which will take advantage of the simpler Android version, the Oreo Go Edition, and was christened Moto E5 Play Android Go edition.

The device has a slightly larger screen than the full Android variant, bringing 5.3 inches in the 18 – 9 aspect, instead of the 5.2 inches of the variant already presented. The resolution was not announced but should be 720p (HD +). Still brings the fingerprint reader, the 8MP camera behind and 5MP for selfies. No chipset or amount of RAM was released.

The Moto E5 Play with Android Oreo will be available starting this Saturday, 14th, in stores in the UK and other European countries, as well as in some markets in Latin America. Motorola has not manifested itself, so it seems that some countries are without the novelty – as it was already without E5 Play.

There is the Land of the Queen, incidentally, the device was announced at 69 pounds with a prepaid plan. In Europe, the suggested price is 109 euros.

How much would the device cost if it were announced in your country? Just use the comments field down there for this.
