TP-LINK Neffos C9 Max Quick Review, Dewdrop Display, 3000MAH Large Battery

This new TP-LINK Neffos C9 Max was announced in the month of July and released in the month of August 2019. It comes as an elegant and exquisite mobile device. But what makes it such? We will go through the specs and see but first please note that this is a phone that shimmers like starlight in the night. Even the back cover has been said to present a dreamy beauty. Yes, the C9 Max gives a great sense of light vision with a flowing gradient on the side.

Design and Display of TP-LINK Neffos C9 Max

About the design, I see a mellow body almost deliberately designed for aesthetics. Hold it in your hand and you get to feel the real beauty. But it is a plastic smartphone that arrives in blue and red color. Dimensions are 75 x 157.5 x 8.8 mm, while the weight is 162 grams

Display show that it is 6.09 inches large and having IPS capacitive touchscreen display. The colors are 24 bit and up to 16 million plus. Its screen arrives with resolution 720 x 1560 pixels which is good because it is common in smartphones of this nature. The pixel density is 282 ppi, but there is no secondary display in this phone and the display protection is 2.5D curved glass screen, GFF full lamination.

Camera Features

Find just two cameras for the device and they are 13 MP at the rear, able to produce 4160 x 3120 pixels of images. This is fortified with dual LED flash. The camera can also produce videos of 1920 x 1080 pixels each time the video recordings are performed. Other cool camera features in this device are HDR, auto focus, panorama, continuous shooting, and others. Taking a look at the selfie camera and find 5 MP camera which also comes with its good features.

Hardware and Software

The TP-LINK Neffos C9 Max device also runs on Android OS v9.0 Pie on a modified Android user interface. The MediaTek Helio A22 chipset working for this device isn’t a bad idea. CPU is clocked at 2000 MHz Quad-core while the GPU is PowerVR GE8300. Notably the Helio A22 is notable for speed performance.

Storage Capacity and Sensors

The storage of TP-LINK Neffos C9 Max is 2GB of RAM. The RAM cannot be expanded but the internal storage of 32GB is gracious and can be boosted externally with a microSD because there is provision for that with the use of microSD card slot. On the other side, the sensors in this device are proximity, light, and accelerometer, and compass. This is a good mid-range Android smartphone but the lack of fingerprint sensor seems like a bad news.

Network and Connectivity

TP-LINK Neffos C9 Max comes as a 4G Android smartphone, working with great and varied speeds of up to 2600 MHz, while the lowest is 800 MHz. The SIM slots inside it are two and they are used for nano SIMs. Other network connectivity components found on the phone are Wi-Fi, dual-band, hotspot, loudspeaker, Bluetooth GPS, A-GPS, GLONASS, Galileo, micro USB, headphone jack, and other components.
