Nokia 7.2 has been spotted on Geekbench with its key specifications. The Geekbench listing suggests that the Nokia 7.2 will be powered by an octa-core processor clocked at 1.84GHz and has 6GB of RAM. This phone is expected to launch next month at IFA 2019 which will be held in Berlin.
It has been confirmed that HMD Global will host an event at the IFA on September 5. This is going to be the first time for HMD Global at the IFA and Nokia 6.2 is also expected to get launched during the same event.
Nokia 7.2 Expected Specifications
As said earlier, the phone will be powered by an octa-core processor clocked at 1.84GHz and packs 6GB of RAM. However, the exact SoC chipset is still unclear, but the rumors suggest that the phone will either have a Snapdragon 660 or Snapdragon 710 chipset.
The Geekbech listing also reveals that the phone will run on Android Pie and manages to achieve a single-core score of 1604 and multi-core score of 5821.
The phone is rumored to be touted as “Star-Lord” and is considered to feature a 6.18-inch full-HD+ with a screen resolution of 1080×2340 pixels. The phone has HDR10 display with U-shaped waterdrop notch. The report suggests that the phone will be made available in two variants – 4GB RAM + 64GB ROM and 6GB RAM + 128ROM.
Moving on to the camera department, the phone is expected to come with a triple rear camera setup housed in a circular module with a 48MP main sensor. There are no concrete details about the camera resolution, the front camera and whether the rear side of the phone will have a dual-camera setup or a triple one.
Juho Sarvikas, HMD Global’s Chief Product Officer official announced that the company will host an event at the IFA 2019 on September 5 at 4 pm local time. The IFA 2019 will begin from September 6 and will come to an end on September 11, 2019. This platform is used by many big tech companies to showcase upcoming technologies and announce their new and upcoming products.
