Symphony V155 Review, 3G, Price, Battery, Performance & Full Specs

Symphony V155 is like a schoolboy’s dream smartphone in the sense that it arrives with minimalistic features. The device is smaller than the popular gaming machines out there. It carries smaller space, and does not even have 4G.

However, for those who are experiencing smartphone use at the very first instant, this is just perfect because it helps them to visualize the smartphone world as beginners. Released in the month of November 2018, Symphony V155 has cool features that will appeal to those who could not afford to spend a world of cash to get a smartphone.

Here below, we examine the salient features of the device such as price, design, camera, battery, performance and other stuffs.

Design and Display of Symphony V155

This device sports a plastic body, and dimensions are 144.2 x 72 x 10.3 mm. It weighs 151 grams and comes in black, blue, gold, and red. It is not a water resistant smartphone, has no fingerprints sensor and no face recognition technology.

Display type is TFT capacitive touch screen of 16 million colors. Multi-touch available. The screen size is 5 inches and there is no secondary touch screen in the device. Pixel density is 196 ppi, pixel resolution is 854 x 480 pixels, and screen body ratio is 66.6 percent.

Camera Features

There is a single camera setup of 5 MP f/2.2 aperture at the rear of Symphony V155. This is equipped with LED flash. Also, the camera at the front made for selfies is also 5 MP f/2.2 aperture and it comes with LED flash option as well.

Other good camera features are geotagging, touch focus, face detection, panorama, auto focus, HDR.

Hardware and Software

MediaTek MT6580M remains the primary hardware in the device and it comes with process technology 28nm. Furthermore, this runs on 32-bit architecture. Also, the CPU is 1.3 GHz Quad-core Cortex A7, while the GPU is Mali 400 MP2. Likewise, the primary software found on Symphony V155 is Android OS v8.1 Go Edition, which we believe can easily update to the latest Android Pie.

Storage Capacity and Sensors

Provision is made for 1GB of RAM which is not expandable. However, the internal storage of 8GB can be increased up to 64GB with the use of a microSD card. There is only one sensor – accelerometer.

Network and Connectivity

There is a provision for just 2G and 3G for the device. In other words, the supported network is GSM and HSPA. Dual nano SIM card slots are available to make the networks operate properly.

Other connectivity components are Bluetooth v4.2, Wi-Fi, mobile hotspot, GPS, A-GPS, headphone jack, and micro USB 2.0. There is no infrared, NFC, or HDMI in the Symphony V155.

Battery Life

Powering the device is 2400 mAh Li-Ion removable battery that has no wireless charging or fast charging capacities. But the battery power is able to pull the user through a full day of use if the phone is charged full, seeing it has no 4G LTE internet.

Price and Availability

The official price outlay for this device is $75 USD. However, we cannot assure you that it remains the same in stores worldwide. The device is actually available because it has been released in the month of November, 2018.
