Design
Looks like the Camon X that was launched in Nigeria from the back. The design looks totally different from its predecessor especially from the camera and LED flash placement. They are now in a horizontal position instead of the vertical way. Nonetheless, it has a Plastic back cover with a Metal frame.
There’s still a fingerprint scanner even with the Face ID introduction. Turning over to the sides, the volume keys and power button sits by the right. There’s a USB charging port underneath and a 3.5mm jack on top. It measures 8.3mm in thickness and available in Champagne Gold and Black colors.
Display
The Camon i Sky adopts the same screen on its predecessor, a bezel-less screen with 18:9 aspect ratio. You will still get the Full View experience with this smartphone. The selfie camera and its dedicated LED flash can be seem at the top bezel.
The 5.45-inch FWVGA+ IPS capacitive touchscreen is nothing to write home about compared to its predecessor. With a resolution of 480 x 960 pixels and 197 pixel per inch density, details might not be that great. Nonetheless, it stretches up to 73.6% screen to body ratio.

Hardware and Software
Working underneath is the MediaTek MT6739 chip with Quad-core processor and 64-bit CPU architecture. The 4-cores of processor here reaches the normal speed of 1.3GHz with 28nm process technology. In the graphics department, the PowerVR GE8100 graphics processor clocks at 570MHz.
The usual 2GB RAM on the Camon i is still available with a memory speed of 667MHz. While the storage space is still 16GB strong and you can upgrade up to 64GB using a memory card. Furthermore, it runs on Android 8.1 Oreo with HiOS 3.3 skin on top.
Camera
The 13MP rear camera has f/2.0 aperture and captures photographs of 4163 x 3122 pixels in dimension. The camera comes with quality photographs and dual-LED flash by the side. For selfies, the 8MP selfie camera has f/2.0 aperture, facial identification technology and a dedicated LED flash.

Battery
Powering the Tecno Camon i Sky is a 3050mAh non-removable Li-Po battery with no fast charging technology. Even without the fast charging feature, it shouldn’t take up to 2.2 hours to fully charge up the battery from 0% to 100%.
