Umidigi A1, an entry-level smartphone from Chinese makers – Umidigi has been leaked online. Following its leak, several information about the device have also been revealed. First of all, the device is an entry-level device but the, its entry-level status doesn’t affect it from coming out with a bezel-less display and an 18:9 aspect ratio. Design And Display
According to the leaks, Umidigi A1 sports a bezel-less display with thin bezels at the top and bottom. On the top bezel, a single camera, earpiece and some sensors are in place. At the bottom bezel, nothing is placed because the Android navigation keys appear on the screen display itself. Dedicated keys such as volume and power buttons appear on the right side of the smartphone. Color Black is the only color availability for now. At the rear, a dual camera setup is seen with a LED flash support, fingerprint sensor and Umidigi logo.

Umidigi A1 is seen to have a 5.5-inch Full screen display with 18:9 aspect ratio. The display is made up of IPS LCD capacitive touchscreen, and is covered with 2.5D curved glass. Having 16 million display colors, the touchscreen has 1440 x 720 pixels and 282 PPI. Also supported on the display are 24 bit color depth and multi-touch input.
Camera
The smartphone’s rear photography is to be handled by a dual camera setup comprising of 13 MP primary sensor and 2 MP secondary sensor. Brightness will be given out by a LED flash. The front camera on the other hand will make use of a 5 MP camera to snap selfies. Features like auto focus and geo-tagging are also expected to tag along in the camera department.
CPU, OS & Storage
MediaTek Helio P18 So serves the chipset functions on the smartphone. It comes with a Quad-core ARM Cortex-A53 CPU. The CPU clocks at 1.3 GHz, and has the 64-bit architecture. Graphics is expected to be released by the PowerVR GE8100 GPU. For solely multitasking and smooth running of apps, a 2 GB LPDDR3 RAM is made available. The internal storage is expected to have a 16 GB capacity for storing files. Added to that, the storage can be extended with the help of a MicroSD card.
