Xiaomi leaves the Xiaomi Mi 5 and Redmi Note 3! It was good while it lasted!

The Xiaomi Mi 5 and Redmi Note 3 have just been discontinued by Xiaomi. Not in its manufacture, which has long been not built, but at the level of software updates support.

Although Redmi Note 3 and Xiaomi Mi 5 were branded smartphones for the brand, there have been almost three years that have been officially revealed and we just have to thank the Chinese company for supporting these devices for so long.

But it’s not all bad news. That is, as much as Xiaomi is abandoning software development for the Xiaomi Mi 5 and for Redmi Note 3 the fan community is huge and I am absolutely sure that it will continue to receive unofficial ROMs with the latest news from MIUI are coming.

Goodbye Xiaomi Mi 5 and Redmi Note 3! Will continue to be remembered!

I remember the time we saw the Xiaomi Mi 5 for the first time at the Mobile World Congress in 2016. Until then I followed Xiaomi but I was not a big lover of her products. Until I saw Mi 5.

Even today, the Mi 5 is an example of building quality and agglomeration of specifications. The smartphone hit the market with a price of quality and was one of my favorites of the year. Incidentally, the 3D glass technology on the back came first in this smartphone.

Redmi Note 3 also surprised me when I first saw it. In 2016 we did not have mid-range with such good quality and with such a low price. These two smartphones were super important to the Chinese brand and will certainly continue to be cherished by fans and brand lovers.
