Xiaomi Qin1, at only 25 euros, here is the feature phone with AI functionality

Quality for which Xiaomi is known globally is its ability to make authentic “top of the range” devices without entailing an excessive expense for the pockets of customers. The quality-price ratio of the Chinese manufacturer is really excellent – the company’s smartphones are top models, mid-range or economy class.

Xiaomi does not have a feature phone that bears his name but has just launched one under the Youpin crowdfunding platform. This is Xiaomi Qin1, which is not only a phone with functionality but also has many other features that make it similar to a smartphone. The most spectacular and intriguing is undoubtedly the artificial intelligence technology that allows the phone to offer multilingual voice translation services in real time.

The product is currently available for financing on Xiaomi Youpin for only 199 yuan (about 25 euros). Most likely the expedition will start from next September 15th.

The Xiaomi crowdfunding feature phone is available in two models, Qin1 and Qin1s. Both models have basically the same design but while the Qin1 is a 2G phone, the Qin1s is a 4G phone. Regarding the design, the feature phone is characterized by a slim body with a thickness of only 8.5 mm. The device is equipped with a compact 2.8-inch IPS screen with a resolution of 240 × 320 pixels. The screen has a Corning Gorilla Glass protection.

In addition, the phone is equipped with Dual SIM / dual standby support, Wi-Fi, alarm clock, weather forecast and many other smart features. The device also includes an IR blaster – this means that it can be used as a remote control for TV, air conditioning, set-top boxes and other domestic devices. As mentioned above, the phone offers real-time AI translation with 17 languages supported. Finally, Xiaomi Qin 1 is equipped with an integrated 1480 mAh battery that can offer up to 15 days of standby time and 420 minutes of continuous voice calls. The phone is available in white and gray.
