This article, however, is focused on another nice smartphone of ZTE, the ZTE Tempo X. The device is not in the level of the recently unveiled Nubia Z17 upgrades but is the perfect smartphone for Android beginners, starters or those on a really low-budget. Let’s have a look at its specs.
DESIGN AND DISPLAY
The ZTE Tempo X sports a very basic and minimalistic design. The device is as basic as it comes – display, proximity sensor, secondary camera and capacitive soft-keys occupies the front, while the loudspeaker, primary camera and LED flash are on the rear. All the hard keys (volume adjustment keys and lock button) occupy the right hand side of the device.
A 5.0 inch IPS LCD capacitive touchscreen with a display resolution of 480 x 854 pixels and a slightly low pixel density of 196 ppi is in charge of visuals on the ZTE Tempo X.
PROCESSOR, OS AND STORAGE
The device uses a Qualcomm Snapdragon 210 System-on-Chip and runs on a 1.1 GHz Quad-core Cortex-A7 processor. Coming with a 1GB of RAM size and an Android v7.1.1 Nougat operating system, the low-end ZTE Tempo X will perform decently when multitasking, without lagging or heating up.
The ZTE Tempo X comes with 8 GB of internal storage and a dedicated Micro SD card slot for storage expansion of up to 32 GB.
CAMERA AND BATTERY
A main 5 MP lens accompanied by a LED flash light is embedded on the rear, while a meagre 2 MP sensor is fix up front for selfies and video chats.
The ZTE Tempo X has a Lithium Ion battery with a capacity of 2,200 mAh as it’s powerhouse. Though the battery capacity is little, the removability of the battery gives room for keeping a spare and replacing it with a fully charge one when you are out on battery juice.
