Check out the 49 devices that are getting the new Huawei EMUI 9.1 upgrade

The EMUI 9.1 upgrade was recently announced by Huawei and it is expected to comes with many new features for Huawei’s Mate 20 series. Huawei has now released a list containing 49 phone models that would get the EMUI 9.1 upgrade very soon.

The models to receive the update are listed in categories based on how they will get the update. The Mate 20, Mate 20 Pro, Mate 20 X, and Mate 20 Porsche Design edition are listed as models that support the public beta. The Mate 20 series have already received the EMUI 9.1 upgrade.

Next, is the category of models that are set to participate in internal testing exercise (closed beta). This includes Mate 10 series, the Mate 9 series, the P20 series, and the P10 series models. Other devices in the category include the Nova 4, Nova 3, Nova 3i, Honor 8A, Honor 8X, Nova 2s, Honor 7, Honor 10, Honor V10, and others.

The last category of devices Huawei plans to release the upgrade to was also revealed. The category includes the Nova 4e, Nova 3e, Enjoy 9 Plus, Enjoy 8 Plus, Enjoy Max, Enjoy 9s, Enjoy 7s, Enjoy 9e, Honor 9 Lite, Honor 8X Max, Honor 20i, Honor 9i, Honor Play. The list even includes tablet models like the MediaPad M5 Lite (10.1 inches), MediaPad M5 Lite (8.0 inches), MediaPad M5 (10.3 inches), Honor Tab 5 and a few other tablets.

Huawei released no information about when the full rollout will be made available. However, the open beta for the Mate 20 series was rolled out on April 18th. Upgrades for other models should be made available very soon.
