The Comio X1 has been launched in India as company’s latest budget-friendly offering for those on a budget. The X1 shouldn’t be mistaken for the X1 Note with dual rear camera which was introduced weeks ago.
The device supports dual 4G VoLTE and supports the trending Face Unlock. It sports curved 18:9 screen, with 2GB RAM and 16GB storage space. It will be available on shopping stores immediately, lets find out more.
Design
The device was built with a combination of Metal and Plastic, physically it has a Plastic back and Metal frame. There’s a round foundation at the top corner which houses the rear camera as well.
Beside the camera, we can see the LED flashlight, while the fingerprint scanner follows underneath. It measures 8.3mm in thickness when be you turn to the sides and available in Black, Gold and Red colors.
Display
Turning over to the front, you’ll be greeted with the curved 18:9 screen, this stretches all the way to the sides in a sleek manner. While the selfie camera, front LED and speaker grille sits on top.
It sports a 5.5-inch HD+ IPS LCD capacitive touchscreen, which boasts of 1440 x 720 pixels in resolution and 293 pixel per inch density. Impressively, it stretches up to 80.02% screen-to-body, with the Dragontrail glass on top.
Hardware and Software
It’s powered by the MediaTek MT6739WA chip, this was built on a 28nm process technology. There’s a quad-core processor reaching a smooth speed of 1.28GHz. While the PowerVR GE8100 graphics processor handles graphics.
Multitasking light apps shouldn’t be a problem with just 2GB of RAM space available, this reaches a memory speed of 667MHz. You also get 16GB storage space to store all files and expand up to 128GB. The X1 runs on Android 8.0 Oreo out of the box.
Camera
It’s equipped with a 13MP rear shooter with f/2.0 aperture, 5-element lens and 76.4° wide-angle lens. The camera comes with internal features and a LED flash. While the AI-powered 8MP selfie camera has f/2.2 aperture, 4-element lens and Face Unlock.
Battery
Powering the Comio X1 is a 3050mAh non-removable Li-Po battery with no fast charging technology. Without the fast charging feature, charging the battery from 0% to 100% might take up to 2.2 hours.
