Facebook Messenger adds to dark mode
It has been through a thread in Reddit as it has been known that Facebook has added a “hidden” configuration in Facebook Messenger that allows users to activate and deactivate dark mode.
To activate the dark mode in FaceBook Messenger the following steps must be followed:
- Send the emoji of the moon ? to any of your contacts on Facebook Messenger, you can even send it to yourself.
- Touch the emoji of the moon in the chat once you have sent it.
- A pop-up window on the screen will tell you that you have found a way to activate and deactivate the dark mode we are talking about.
- Now go to the settings of the application and there you should see this novelty. If you can not find it, you may have to force the restart of the Facebook Messenger application to have the new dark mode settings available.
Apparently, Facebook is testing dark mode with a limited user group and undetermined volume, so you should not miss if it does not appear in your Facebook Messenger application.
