The Google Pixel 3a, formerly known as the Pixel 3 Lite, would also have a purple color in addition to a black and a white version.
Pixel 3a and Pixel 3a XL
The Pixel 3 and the Pixel 3 XL were announced at the end of last year during the Made by Google event, but it soon became clear that we could expect even more in terms of Pixel phones. Even before Google launches its Pixel 4 in the fall, we can still expect two mid-range phones that were previously known as the Pixel 3 Lite and the Pixel 3 Lite XL. Now we hear more voices that the phones will indeed be called Pixel 3a and Pixel 3a XL.
Purple Pixel 3a
There is also talk from several sources about the colors of the phone. In the past, we saw Google choose blue or light pink in addition to a white and black variant, but now for the first time, a purple color is in the making for the Pixel 3a series. Winfuture and 9To5Google report that.
The Pixel 3a would appear with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 670, 4 GB of memory and a Full HD screen of 5.6 inches. For the first time, Google also comes with an XL variant that brings a more powerful chipset. The Pixel 3a XL would have a faster Snapdragon 710 processor, 4GB RAM, and a larger 6-inch screen. Both phones would receive 64 GB of storage because the 32 GB version would not come to Europe.
Availability
It is not yet known when we will see the Pixel 3a and its bigger brother, but it is expected that it will be launched this spring. The Pixel 3a would be available from 450 euros. Nothing is yet known about the price of the XL version.
