How to enable automatic password entry on the phone

Here is a guide that explains how to enable the automatic completion of Google passwords on your Android phone.

Since the smartphone is the center of our life and with it we do practically everything that requires an Internet connection, it is on the mobile phone that we use multiple passwords

After all, we use a multitude of applications, we also access websites with our accounts. This poses a risk to privacy, so it is convenient to use a different password for each service; however complicated it is to remember them all.

Auto-completion of forms on Android works through Google’s password manager, although it is also compatible with other third-party password managers. Unfortunately, it is a tool available only for terminals with Android 8.0 or later.

With this security system, our Android will automatically fill in the user and password fields of those applications that we previously accessed.

Here is a detailed guide on how to activate and use the function to write user and password with automatic completion on Android.

How to turn on AutoComplete on Android

The “Auto-complete” feature is a tool that saves us a lot of time. Communicate with the apps that we have installed on your mobile phone and fill in the forms, entering the relevant passwords with the data previously stored in the service to remember Google passwords. How can we activate it on our Android phone?

The Google Autocomplete service is usually enabled by default in every Android, but if it were not so, we will follow the following steps to activate it (there may be slight differences depending on the make and model of your phone).

Go to your Android settings.

Look for the option “Languages and text input”. It usually has its own menu on the main settings page or is within the system options.

Once in “Languages and text entry” go-to “Auto-complete service”.

Press the Google option to select it (this is the default service you want to use). If you want to use a third-party autocomplete application, click “Add Service”. The applications currently supported for this are Enpass, LastPass, Dashlane, Keeper, and 1Password.

That way, every time you sign in to an app or game and you already have a previously saved password, Google will suggest that you complete the login boxes so you don’t have to remember your password. It is a secure service guaranteed by Google.
