How to hard reset Xiaomi Redmi 7 Phone

Hard Reset Redmi 7 from the settings

  1. Turn on the device;
  2. From the Home search and stop on Settings;
  3. Enter Synchronization> Google;
  4. Now click on your account;
  5. Press the More button (3 dots at the bottom) and choose “Remove account”;
  6. Go to Settings> Additional Settings> Backup & Restore> Factory data reset;
  7. To confirm, select “Reset device” first and “Delete all” then;
  8. At this point the device will begin to perform reset operations;
  9. The phone will restart and you will be able to enjoy your new smartphone once again.

Hard Reset Redmi 7 from recovery

  1. Turn off your smartphone;
  2. Hold down Volume Up + power button at the same time;
  3. When you see the logo I release them;
  4. From the Recovery mode navigate with the volume keys up to the “wipe data/factory reset” item;
  5. Press the power button to enter the submenu;
  6. Select and confirm “Yes – Wipe all user data”;
  7. At this point the phone will begin to perform reset operations;
  8. At the end of everything you will have to select the word “reboot system now”;
  9. Enjoy your new smartphone once again.
