How to remove ads on Xiaomi with MIUI by disabling the MSA app

This should be your first point of reference, as it can solve many annoying announcements on MIUI. Xiaomi doesn’t want you to turn it off and tried to make the process a little frustrating, but with a little patience, you can delete the MSA app. You will need to make sure your smartphone is running on MIUI 10 and is connected to a Wi-Fi or mobile network. Unfortunately, you can’t do it offline.

  1. Go to Settings, then to Additional Settings
  2. Under Authorization and revocation, you can search for MSA and press the toggle button to deactivate it
  3. Now wait 10 seconds, then press Revoke
  4. You may see a message informing you that you cannot revoke the authorization. Keep trying until you can.

How to disable ads in Mi Music and Mi Video

To disable ads in your Xiaomi Mi Music and Mi Video apps, the process is basically the same as above, with only a few modifications necessary for Mi Video.

  1. Go to Settings, then System Settings app
  2. Find the application Mi music and activate receive recommendations off
  3. For Mi Video, open the app and tap Account, then Settings
  4. Turn off both tips and push notifications

How to disable ads in Mi File Manager, Folders and Downloads

To disable announcements in the File and folder management menu, including downloads, on Xiaomi MIUI 10, follow the same procedure you did for the Mi Browser and the Mi Security apps.
