How To Transfer Music From Your Computer To Your iOS Device?

Apple products like the popular iPhone can seamlessly replace some other devices that you formerly felt you could not live without. For instance, smartphones have chased MP3 players out of the market for a while now, and ever since then, their capabilities have stepped up. With iOS devices, iTunes can be used to easily transfer music from a PC to your iPhone or iPad. See below to find out how:

How Can I Transfer Music Using iTunes?

The most dependable remedy to this issue is to sync music from iTunes because it is the official Apple application for transferring music. Before we proceed, iTunes must be installed on your PC and it should be updated. Download iTunes here.

Also, bear in mind that iTunes’ synchronization only goes to an iOS device from a PC. If you have a track on an iOS device that is not on your PC, it gets deleted. But you have to connect the phone to your PC and find it on iTunes.

Connect The iPhone:

  1. Get your device plugged into the PC. Get this done by using the USB port.
  2. Launch iTunes on your PC.
  3. Within iTunes, tap on the phone icon in the menu in the top-left corner.
  4. Under these menus, your iPhone will be visible on the “Devices” list.

How Can I Use The Sync To Transfer Music Automatically?

  1.  Immediately your device is chosen, tap “Music” in the sidebar to the left.
  2. Close to the top of the screen, a “Sync Music” checkbox will be visible. Tick it if it is not ticked.
  3. To transfer every music you have, tap “Entire music.” Or choose “Selected playlists, artists, albums, and genres.” This is where you can select the things mentioned in the button’s name for syncing.
  4. When you are through, tap “Apply” to start the automatic transfer.

How Can I Transfer Music Manually?

Before transferring music manually, make sure you have activated this option in iTunes. To achieve this, tap “Summary” which is the top tab in the Settings section of the sidebar on the left. After that, tick the “Manually manage music and videos” box and tap “Apply.”

When this is done, you will be able to transfer your music to your iPhone easily:

  1. Locate “Library” on the sidebar to the left. Decide if you want to sort music by song name, artist, album, or genre.
  2. Immediately after choosing the music to transfer to your device, just drag-and-drop it there. The device will also be visible on the sidebar.

To choose several songs, hold the Control (Command on Mac) key while selecting them.

Bear in mind that the same can be done with playlists. You can drag and drop them to your phone in iTunes. If you go for this option, it will even preserve your time.

How Can I Confirm If The Drivers Are Working?

Users can delete a faulty driver and have it reinstalled with the Device Manager if there is one.

  1. Launch the Device Manager. The simplest way to get this done is by allowing the Run program to open it for you. If you want to open Run, just press Win + R. This can be done in all Windows versions.
  2. In the Device Manager, locate “Universal Series Bus Controllers.” Tap on the plus sign that is close to it.
  3. Faulty drivers can be deleted by right-clicking on them and choosing “Uninstall.” These drivers will have error symbols close to them.
  4.  Choose “Action.” It will be visible at the top of the screen.
  5. Select “Scan for Hardware Changes.”

  2. In the next window, tap “Power Management.”
  3. If the “Allow the computer to turn off this device to save power” box is ticked, untick it.
  4. Tap “OK.”
  5. When you are done configuring the USBs like this, rebooting Windows is not compulsory.
  6. Attempt syncing again.
