Meizu M6T has finally been introduced after weeks of countless leaks and renders. For what it’s worth, most of the leaks were actually true, especially the renders we saw earlier. The M6T is an affordable smartphone with value-for-money specs and price.
There’s an octa-core processor here, 4GB RAM and 64GB storage variant. Although it runs on an older Android 7.0 Nougat operating system, it comes with the trending dual rear shooters and full view display. Without further ado, lets meet the Meizu M6T.
Design
Even though it sports a Plastic back, we can help but notice how attractive it is and the overall sleek view. We can see the LED flash starting a vertical train at the top middle, a unique move which is totally welcomed. Then the dual shooters follows before the fingerprint scanner underneath.
When you turn the device to the sides and edges, you’ll see the volume keys and power button on the right, while the SIM tray is at the left. Furthermore, the USB charging port is under the phone with dual speakers, while a 3.5mm jack is on top. It measures 8.4mm in thickness, weighs 145g and available in Black, Champagne Gold and Coral Red.
Display
If there’s a smartphone company that doesn’t like the popular notched screen, then it’s Meizu. The device dishes out an 18:9 aspect ratio screen, you’ll never notice the extremely narrow bezels by the sides. The top and bottom bezels are still pretty much visible nonetheless.
The 5.7-inch HD+ IPS LCD capacitive touchscreen is quite brilliant and brings out nice colors as well. The screen boasts of 1440 x 720 pixels in resolution and 282 pixel per inch density for stunning visuals. The screen stretches up to 75.4% screen-to-body ratio for the full view experience.
Hardware and Software
Working underneath is the Mediatek MT6750 with Octa-Core processor and 64-bit CPU architecture. The 8-Cores of processor here runs at a smooth pace of 1.5GHz with 28nm process technology. The ARM Mali-T860 MP2 graphics processor comes with 2-Cores and clocks at 520MHz.
The 4GB RAM variant has either 64GB storage and 32GB storage, the one with 64GB storage will more expensive obviously. Then there’s a cheaper variant with 3GB RAM and 32GB storage space. You can upgrade the storage space up to 128GB by letting go of a SIM slot. The Meizu M6T runs on Android 7.0 Nougat with Flyme UI.
Camera
The dual 13MP + 2MP rear shooters boasts of f/2.2 and f/2.4 aperture respectively. The cameras capture stunning photographs even in low light, thanks to the LED flash. Internal features on the camera includes phase detection autofocus, geo-tagging, touch focus, face detection, panorama and others. Record videos of 1080p @ 30fps, and take cute selfies with the 8MP front camera that has f/2.0 aperture.
Battery
Powering the Meizu M6T is a 3300mAh non-removable Li-Ion battery with fast charging technology. With the fast charging feature, charging the battery from 0% to 100% shouldn’t take up to 2.5 hours.
