The Micromax Canvas Infinity Lite has been launched as the much affordable version of the Micromax Canvas Infinity Pro smartphone. The device was launched in India and would be available globally immediately.

Design
Just like most budget smartphones, the Canvas Infinity Lite comes with a Plastic removable cover back. Surprisingly, the Plastic body on the Canvas Infinity Lite is more appealing than the Metal on the Pro version.
That’s the rear camera and LED flash on the top left corner in a horizontal format. While the fingerprint scanner is at its usual position, for easy access to the phone and private apps. The Micromax logo is at the bottom corner, as the device was introduced in only Black.
Display
It follows the trend of the Canvas Infinity series, dishing out an 18:9 aspect ratio. The screen has tiny narrow bezels and the normal top and bottom bezel, the bottom bezel is obviously vacant, while the top houses the usual features.
The 5.45-inch HD+ IPS LCD capacitive touchscreen is pretty basic with 1440 x 720 pixels in resolution. But nonetheless, the details on the screen will be crystal clear with 295 pixel per inch density. The screen boasts of a full lamination technology, 450 cd/m2 and 85% NTSC, while a 2.5D Curved Glass protects it all.
Hardware and Software
Under the hood, the MediaTek MT6737 chip is in control with Quad-core processor and 64-bit CPU architecture. The 4-cores of processor on the Canvas Infinity Lite reaches a speed of 1.3GHz and boasts of a 28nm process technology. Handling graphics, is the ARM Mali-T720 MP1 graphics processor with a single core and it clocks at 600 MHz.
There’s a standard 2GB of RAM available here, with a memory speed of 640MHz for smooth multitasking. In terms of storage, 16GB storage space is available and upgradeable up to 128GB with a memory card. The Canvas Infinity Lite runs on Android 7.1.2 Nougat operating system.
Camera
The 13MP Sony IMX135 Exmor RS rear camera on the Canvas Infinity Lite captures 4K resolution images. The camera boasts of f/2.0 aperture, CMOS Sensor, 1.127-micron pixel size, 76 degree field of view, 5P lens, LED flash and other features. For selfies and video calls, the 8MP front shooter has f/2.0 aperture, 84 degree wide-angle lens, 5P Lens, and front flash as well.
Battery
Powering the Micromax Canvas Infinity Lite is a 2500mAh removable Li-Po battery with no fast charging technology. Without the fast charging feature, it shouldn’t take more than 3 hours to fully charge up the battery from 0% to 100%.
