Motorola Moto Green Pomelo is another powerful mid-range smartphone that’s trending on shopping stores. Lenovo’s sub-brand Motorola released the smartphone and it looks a lot like the Moto G5S from afar.
Specs-wise, the Moto Green Pomelo packs impressive features for its price, there’s 3GB RAM, 32GB storage and 4G LTE connectivity. The Snapdragon 630 chip is on-board with an octa-core processor, there’s a 16MP rear camera as well.
Design
The design speaks for itself, you’ll definitely know it’s a Motorola smartphone. The Metal body looks exquisite and attractive, we can’t help but notice the antenna lines at the top and bottom corner, which brings out the beauty of this device.
The big circle foundation at the top middle, houses the rear camera and LED flash, while the Moto logo sits at its usual position. It measures just 8.24 mm in thickness, which is quite slim for a Moto device. The device weighs in at 157g and available in Black and Rose-Gold colors.
Display
You have to look somewhere else if you’re into full screen display, the Moto Green Pomelo screen dishes out a 16:9 aspect ratio, which might be a little bit disappointing. The physical home button at the bottom bezel doubles as a fingerprint scanner.
The 5.2-inch FHD IPS LCD capacitive touchscreen might look small, but the features on the screen would come out great. It has a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels and 423.64 pixel per inch density for clear visuals. The screen stretches up to 67.66% screen to body ratio with a Corning Gorilla Glass 3 on top.
Hardware and Software
Running the race here is the Snapdragon 630 chip from Qualcomm with an Octa-Core processor and 64-bit CPU architecture. The 8-Cores of processor here clocks at a smooth speed of 1.4GHz with 14nm process technology. The Qualcomm Adreno 505 graphics processor comes with 2-Cores.
Multitask smoothly with 3GB RAM space available, it has a memory speed of 800MHz as well. While for storage, the standard 32GB storage space is available as well, you can upgrade up to 128GB if you want. The Motorola Moto Green Pomelo runs on Android 7.1.1 Nougat with modified user interface.
Camera
The 16MP rear shooter comes with f/2.0 aperture, 1.0 μm pixel size and captures photographs with 4619 x 3464 pixels in dimension. This camera shouldn’t be underestimated though, it comes with so many features like White balance settings, Gesture Shot, Wide Angle Camera, Phase Detection, Best Shot, Quick Capture, Burst mode, 4K video and lots more. There’s another 16MP selfie shooter with f/2.0 aperture and front LED.
Battery
Powering the Motorola Moto Green Pomelo is a 3000mAh non-removable Li-Ion battery with fast charging technology. With the fast charging feature, charging the battery from 0% to 100% shouldn’t take up to 1.8 hours.
