A new Nokia smartphone looms on the horizon, but do not get too excited, because it is not a top range. The object of the mystery should be the new Nokia 5 (2018), revised and correct version of the mid-range released last year that could follow in the footsteps of the Nokia 6, also revised in version 2018.
To give the announcement “unofficial”, after months of rumors spotted on the web, is Juho Sarvikas, CPO of HMD Global. In response to a tweet from a user, who was asking for certain lights on the release of this possible Nokia 5 (2018), the HMD executive replied to ” stay tuned “, a sign that there are new arrivals.
Obviously, there are neither specifications nor announced dates of presentation, but the assumptions are wasted. The most convincing say that the new Nokia 5 could mount a Qualcomm Snapdragon 435 SoC, 2/3 GB of RAM and 16/32 GB of internal memory, with an Android One software based on Oreo 8.1.
As for the release, it could be imminent, maybe already by the end of the month, if not at the beginning of June. The price should be around € 200, but much will also depend on the hardware and potential variants coming. Appointment in the coming weeks for more details.
