Nokia 7.1 and Honor View 20 receive a March security update with extras

Nokia and Honor roll out a new update for a few of their devices. The smartphone manufacturers have the March security patch ready for the Honor View 20 and the Nokia 7.1.

March patch for Honor and Nokia

Those in possession of a Nokia 7.1 or Honor View 20 can now expect a new update for their smartphone. The update does not entail any further major changes for the Nokia 7.1. It is, however, a new ‘Pie build’ where user-friendliness has been refined and improved. The update has a size of just under 350MB.

The Honor View 20 now also receives a new update, which is also a March 2019 security update. In addition, improvements have been made to the camera. Photos taken from the hand must now contain less noise. This specifically concerns photos that are taken in Super Night mode. Photos taken in low light must now be captured more clearly. Honor has also optimized the sensitivity of the screen.

It may take a while for the updates to be available to every user. You will be notified as soon as this is the case. Optionally, you can manually check whether the update is available for your device via settings.
