The Nokia 7.1 is built with a glass sandwich-style body and diamond cut anodized aluminum frame. It measures 71.0 mm x 147.2 mm x 8.0 mm in dimensions and it weighs 151 gram. The Nokia 6.1, on the other hand, is built with an aluminum Alloy and glass as well. It measures 71.18 mm x 149.7 mm x 9.14 mm in dimensions and weight 160 gram. Both phones are available in multiple colors.

They have Qualcomm Adreno 509 GPU for graphics and the processor is built with 14nm process technology. They have the same RAM of 4GB with an inbuilt memory of 64GB which is expandable.
The Nokia 6.1 has a cheaper variant with 3GB and 32GB of memory and you can also expand the storage unit with a micro SD card.

The Nokia 7.1 and the Nokia 6.1 still share similar features, however, the Nokia 7.1 been the upgraded version is equipped with impressive cameras and other regulars. Still, there are no much differences on the hardware, so if you still have the Nokia 6.1, there is no need to upgrade.
