Design
Sports a Plastic overall body that’s quite comfortable to hold. Not often do we see a smartphone in its price range come with a rear fingerprint scanner. With the feature, you can easily unlock the Nomi i5012 Evo M2 in 0.1s.
The rear camera is at the top left corner, while the LED flash sits beside it. There’s a loudspeaker at the bottom corner to listen to loud music on the go. When you turn over to the sides, it measures 10.35 mm slim just like most budget smartphones. It’s available in Gold and Blue colors only.
Display
Not bezel-less, but the screen is pretty standard dishing out a 16:9 aspect ratio. The narrow bezels are super minimal as possible, three navigation buttons sits at the bottom corner. While the top houses the selfie camera, ambient light sensor and speaker grille as usual.
The 5-inch HD IPS capacitive touchscreen has a resolution of just 1280 x 720 pixels. It displays just like most budget phones or even better. Boasting of 294 pixel per inch density, as the screen stretches up to 65.3% screen to body ratio. The i5012 Evo M2 offers more screen overall and its clear enough as well.
Hardware and Software
Working underneath is the MediaTek MT6580M chip, a 32-bit CPU architecture alongside 4-cores of processor. The Quad-core processor reaches a speed of 1.3GHz with a 28nm process technology for normal performance. In the graphics department, the ARM Mali-400 MP2 graphics processor is in charge clocking at 416MHz.
For multitasking, there’s just 1GB of RAM that reaches a memory speed of 533MHz. 8GB Storage space is available to store all files, which you can upgrade up to 32GB as well. The Nomi i5012 Evo M2 runs on Android 7.0 Nougat with modified user interface.
Camera
The 5MP camera at the rear is what is used for photography here. Enabling users to capture photographs with just 2582 x 1936 pixels in dimension. There’s also a LED flash beside it for night shoots as well as low light environment. Take selfies with the 2MP selfie camera at the top bezel, and record videos of 720 pixels at 30 frames per second.
Battery
Powering the Nomi i5012 Evo M2 is a 2080mAh removable Li-Ion battery with fast no charging technology. Even without the fast charging feature, it shouldn’t take more than 1.8 hours to fully charge up the battery from 0% to 100%.
