Redmi Note 8 Specs Review, Price, 64 MP Camera, 4000MAH Battery

Redmi Note 8 is still in the works. Redmi GM has revealed some information about it on Weibo through a video. It shaped our idea of what the phone is going to look like, hence this review. This smartphone will bring with it new features that are just beginning to be popular among suave smartphone users. Read on to get the full gist of Note 8 by Redmi.

Redmi Note 8 Design and Display

Redmi Note 8 is made with a combination of plastic and metal body type. Fingerprint tech is involved and it comes in colors of red, blue, and black which I really believe is a wonderful accomplishment. Both the dimensions and weight specs will be confirmed later.

But for display we find features such as IPS capacitive touchscreen. The 6.39 FHD+ inches screen size is very nice to watch movies for a long time or play games.  In addition to this, it has 1080p x 2340 pixels resolution, 403.32 pixel density ppi, and 2.5D curved glass screen protection. This display screen is fantastic enough although there is no secondary display.

Camera Features

Camera features in the Redmi Note 8 are massive because the phone has three to the rear and one to the front for selfies. There are 64 MP, 8 MP, and 5 MP lenses at the rear of the phone. These come with full HD recording capacities. Video resolution is 1080p and there amazing features available such a autofocus, continuous shooting, digital zoom, face detection and more. But at the front for selfies, there is 13 MP lens.

Hardware and Software

The Redmi Note 8 mobile device runs on Android 9.0 Pie, which has MIUI V10 as the user interface. The smartphone also reputably comes with Qualcomm Snapdragon 665 chipset, of 64-bit processor and process technology 11nm. However, the chipset comes with Octa-core 2.0 GHz Kryo CPU, while the GPU is Qualcomm Adreno 610. So up to this stage, the camera department has been the most impressive.

Storage Capacity and Sensors

It also arrives with good 6GB of RAM which cannot be expanded but the internal storage of 128GB can be boosted externally with a microSD card that can be slotted in a dedicated slot, up to 256GB. I’d say this is good enough for even the most arduous smartphone users. Sensors include fingerprint, accelerometer, gyro, proximity, and compass.

Network and Connectivity

Looking at the network side of things, it is clear that the Redmi Note 8 is 4G Android phone that has capacity for two nano SIM slots and the manufacturer says it has GSM, UMTS, and LTE capabilities. On the other side, there are components like Wi-Fi, hotspot, Bluetooth v5.0, GPS, A-GPS, GLONASS, GALILEO, NFC, USB v2.0 Type-C with OTG, audio jack, and other features. The infrared here is a big deal that some of us may overlook. But there is no NFC for this mobile phone.

Battery Power

Powering Redmi Note 8 is a non-removable Li-Po 4000 mAh battery. The mobile device has 10W fast charging support and can last for 290 hours on standby.

Price and Availability

Lastly, it is significant to note that the price of Redmi Note 8 is approximately $405. For the availability, the smartphone is not available now but there are rumors that it will be launched under the stable of Xiaomi on August 29, 2019 at the price you see here.
