Sirin Labs Finney – World’s First Blockchain-Powered Smartphone

Sirin Labs Finney has been announced as the world’s first Blockchain-powered smartphone with built-in ‘cold-storage’ crypto wallet for Blockchain supported cryptocurrencies. The Switzerland based company said the device will be more of a hardcore wallet, just like the Nano Ledger S.

However, it’s still a smartphone, and a powerful one at that, housing the Snapdragon 845 with octa-core processor. There’s a 256GB storage space available and 8GB RAM for multitasking, it sports the trending notched screen as well. Lets find out more.

As expected, the Finney smartphone has a unique and classy design, its aluminium alloy body was designed to perfection. There’s a Corning Gorilla Glass 5 at the back as well, this lets the device reflect light in the most subtle way.

There’s a protruding foundation at the top middle, this houses the rear camera and LED Flash. There’s no fingerprint scanner at the rear, the feature is now on the screen. In terms of colouring, the Sirin Labs Finney will be available in White, Gray and Black colors.

It isn’t surprising the Sirin Labs Finney sports the trending notched screen that has come to stay. Sirin made sure the Finney smartphone was all about screen, as the whole front is a touchscreen that dishes out a 19:9 aspect ratio.

The 5.2-inch QHD+ IPS LCD capacitive touchscreen is simply out of this world. The company brought on lots of pixels (2560 x 1440) on the screen in terms of resolution. It has a pixel per inch density of 534.04, marking sure the visuals displaying are vivid and sharp enough.

Working underneath is the powerful Snapdragon 845 chip from Qualcomm with Octa-core processor and 64-bit CPU architecture. The 8-Cores of processor here clocks at a fast speed of 2.8GHz with 10nm FinFET process technology. In the graphics department, the Qualcomm Adreno 630 graphics processor takes charge.

It comes with a massive 8GB RAM for multitasking and a memory speed of over 1.8GHz. There’s a massive 256GB storage space available as well, offering lots of storage space to store all files with no option to expand further. The Sirin Labs Finney runs on Android 8.1 Oreo out of the box with Sirin OS.

Camera

The 16MP main rear camera captures amazing photographs, it has an aperture of f/1.8 which lets in more light for clearer photographs. There’s also a LED flash to assist the rear shooter during the night as well. There’s a 12MP wide-angle selfie camera for taking cute selfies.

Battery

Powering the Sirin Labs Finney is a 3000mAh non-removable Li-Po battery with fast charging technology. With the fast charging feature, it shouldn’t take up to 1.5 hours to fully charge up the battery from 0% to 100%.
