Sony Mobile just recently announced a mid-range smartphone, the Sony Xperia R1 in India. The smartphone was announced alongside the Xperia R1 Plus, with both featuring similar specifications.

The Sony Xperia R1 sports a 13.2cm-sized 2.5D curved glass display with HD(720*1280 pixels) resolution. The smartphone comes with a metal design in Black and Silver colours and measures 8.89mm in thickness and 154g in weight. Its silk design sees it feature its main camera at the top left corner just above the LED Flash.
Storage & Processor
The smartphone will be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 Mobile platform with Adreno 505 GPU handling graphics, meaning a hassle-free, lag-free exploration of applications. It comes with 2GB of RAM plus 16GB of internal memory which is expandable up to 128GB using a microSD.
The Xperia R1 features a 13MP rear predictive Autofocus camera with LED Flash as well as a 8MP wide-angle Selfie camera for a wider field of view on your selfies with friends and family. Both cameras offer 12 different capturing modes for crisp, smooth image experience.
