Tecno Pouvoir 2 Pro was silently introduced by Tecno Mobile as the advanced version of the battery focused smartphone, the Pouvoir 2. The Pro version still packs the same 5000mAh battery, but there’s been a little top-ups here and there.
You now get 3GB of RAM with the Pouvoir 2 Pro, this will let you multitask smoothly with the Android 8.1 Oreo running in the background. There’s a 13MP selfie camera, support for Face ID and 4G LTE. Lets find out more.
Design
The Pouvoir 2 Pro was crafted to impress, sporting an exquisite metal body to suit your stylish lifestyle. Built with advanced metal processing technology with dual antenna lines. The rear camera, LED flash and fingerprint scanner are vertical at the top.
The fingerprint scanner is just an alternative feature to unlock the device of you don’t like the Face ID feature. It measures 8.2mm in thickness which is sleek enough and available in City Blue, Phantom Black, Glory Gold and Champagne Gold.
Display
This smartphone offers users the same expansive view just like on its smaller sibling. The screen dishes out an 18:9 aspect ratio, giving you more screen than bezels and most importantly a taller screen.
The huge 6-inch HD+ IPS LCD capacitive touchscreen has 720 x 1440 pixels in resolution and offers the full view display. With a pixel per inch density of about 269, watch all your games and movies come alive. The screen stretches up to 76.3% screen-to-body ratio as well.
Hardware and Software
The MediaTek MT6737 chip runs the race here, it was built on a 28nm process technology and 64-bit CPU architecture. The 4-Cores of processor present here clocks at a smooth speed of 1.3GHz, with the Mali-T720 graphics processor handling graphics.
Multitask smoothly with 3GB of RAM, this allows you to launch more apps and multitask through them all, while running on Android 8.1 Oreo. The storage space still remains the same with just 16GB storage space available, however you can expand up to 128GB.
Camera
The 13MP rear camera takes impressive photographs, it comes with a LED flash and other features to help out in low light environments. For selfies, an enhanced 13MP selfie camera shoots selfies with Portrait Bokeh mode. There’s a front LED flash as well to help you out.
Battery
Powering the Tecno Pouvoir 2 Pro is a 5000mAh non-removable Li-Ion battery with no fast charging technology. Without the fast charging feature, charging the battery from 0% to 100% might take up to 3-4 hours.
